We like to see children as early as 3 years old
if they are mouthbreathers or at about age 6 or
7. If, however, a child is a nosebreather and
has good facial balance, we don't start orthodontics
until all 28 permanent teeth are in the mouth.
It is our philosophy to give someone the best
orthodontic result as early in their life as possible
with the least amount of effort on everyone's
part! Many of these cases can be treated in a
year to a year and a half.
